“Realms” — Tonight at GR2, Los Angeles!
With Ako Castuera and Elsa Mora. I’ve been planning this trip for a month, but I’m sad to say that I will not be attending the opening after all. I would SO love to have made it down there for this one but my workload simply won’t allow it. I picked up a huge job at the beginning of the month and my schedule’s been laid out since. It’s a very exciting job, but I’ve signed an NDA so details will have to wait. ;)
I love the Giant Robot and will be there in spirit. Hopefully you can all make it out and have some fun for me this evening. I was really looking forward to meeting Elsa and Ako, seeing my friends at GR and taking in some fresh art.. not to mention getting some SUN. PDX is breaking all the wrong records this winter (wiki: Rain).

I’m so sorry that you didn’t hear from me before.
I have been sooo busy! As much as i know that you are now.
I just wanted to say that we missed you so much at the show.
Everyone wanted to see you so it was sad finding you that you were unable to make it.
BUT seeing your work in person was such a gift!!!
I got totally lost into the detail of your pieces.
Each one is mesmerizing, it was like dreaming with my eyes open.
You’re such a wonderful artist.

Elsita, thank you so much for such a sweet note! I was very sad I was unable to make it for the show especially when i saw the pics from the opening. It looked like a very fun night. Yours and Ako’s work looks amazing online and I’m bummed I haven’t had a chance to see it in person. Hopefully one day.. I’m sure this is not the last time we show together. =)
